	NC-140 2009 Annual Meeting November 2-3, 2009


Tentative Schedule Saturday, October 31 (optional):Arrive at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Rent a vehicle or plan to take taxi or super shuttle to motel (about 25 miles). Transportation will NOT be provided by us. Accommodations for entire meeting at AmericInn Motel and Suites of Chanhassen, MN. You must call 952-934-3888 and ask for NC-140 Research Group for the special rate of $71.90 per night. More details below. Dinner on your own. Sunday, November 1 (optional): 9:30am-4:30pm tour of Pepin Heights Orchards in Lake City, MN with owner Dennis Courtier. Lunch included in registration. Dinner on your own. 7:30-9:00pm wine and cheese reception at AmericInn. Monday, November 2: NC-140 meeting at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum beginning at 8am. Coffee/pastries and lunch at Arboretum included in registration. After lunch, tour the University of Minnesota Horticultural Research Center to view NC-140 McIntosh planting as well as other apple, pear, grape and hardy kiwi plantings. Group dinner at Houlihan’s included in registration. Evening committee meetings at restaurant or motel meeting room. Tuesday, November 3: NC-140 meeting continues at University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum beginning at 8am. Coffee/pastries and lunch at Arboretum included in registration. Meeting adjourns at 2pm. Travel and Lodging Notes If arriving by air, plan to fly into the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Rooms have been blocked at AmericInn Motel and Suites of Chanhassen, MN.
