Petite Jewell

Petite Jewel was the only seedless variety introduced by Elmer Swenson during his lifetime.  As the name implies, the berries are quite small, but with an attractive ruby-red color. The vine is moderately hardy but can sustain some injury in severe winters.  Not widely available, Petite Jewel deserves wider planting in northern states.
